The journey begins with a comfortable minibus from the Tourist Information in Bergen, heading east into a winter wonderland. Our first stop is at the majestic, snow-covered Tvindefossen waterfall. Before reaching this enchanting sight, we pause in the cozy Dale village for 20 minutes—perfect for a hot coffee, snacks, and a quick toilet break. Further on, we arrive in Gudvangen, where you will enjoy a peaceful electric cruise through the icy, shimmering Nærøyfjorden, arriving in Flåm. We’ll have about 30-45 minutes for lunch and sightseeing, surrounded by the tranquil winter scenery. In Flåm, your guide will meet you before the tour continues to Aurland.

Next, you’ll embark on the breathtaking drive up to the Stegastein viewpoint. The platform extends 30 meters from the mountainside, perched 650 meters above the snow-laden fjord below, offering unparalleled panoramic views of Norway’s winter panorama. The scenic route from Aurland to Stegastein winds through snowy mountains along the National Scenic Routes of Norway. Take your time to capture spectacular photos and soak in the magical winter vistas from the platform.

You’ll return to Bergen by 7:00 PM, carrying memories of Norway’s enchanting winter landscape.

THE EXPERIENCE

Over the past winter months we have had some amazing tours with the best guests! First off, we picked up our guests in Bergen and began our drive to the city of Voss. Voss is well known for their extreme sports opportunities, and people from all over the world travel to Voss for extreme experiences. In this tour, we just stopped on the way for our customers to get a quick sight of the city. Moving on, we arrive at our first famous waterfall Tvindefossen. This waterfall is 110 m long, and a must see for anyone who is traveling from Voss to Aurland. 

Our next stop is an enchanting place called Gudvangen in the county of Aurland. Gudvangen is close to Nærøyfjorden which is on UNESCO's world heritage list. We stop right by the start of Nærøyfjorden, where our guests enjoy a tour with an electric fjord cruise through Nærøyfjorden. The fjord's exceptional natural beauty is derived from their narrow and steep-sided crystalline rock walls, and these walls rise up to 1.400 m from the Norwegian sea and extend 500 m below sea level. Nærøyfjorden is the world's narrowest fjord, which gives you a close up at the spectacular surroundings. You will experience that the sheer walls of the fjords have numerous waterfalls, rugged mountains and glaciers.

When our guests arrive in the city of Flåm, we stand ready to pick them up, and can't wait to drive further and show them Stegastein viewpoint. When you arrive at Stegastein viewpoint, you will get a panorama view 650 meters over the Aurlandsfjord. The view is breathtaking, and you will have to look for your whole life to find a better view. Enjoy taking wonderful pictures of the scene, as seen on our main picture for this post. After Stegastein, we start our trip home in our high class minibusses, where you can relax and take in all expressions from the tour.

"My girlfriend and I booked this trip as we had never been to Norway before. We had an amazing experience - the electric boat was almost silent and felt like you were gliding through the fjord. Even though it was raining we still got to see the incredible views, even at the viewpoint. "This is the tour me and my partner saw advertised when we first looked at visiting Bergen. It did not disappoint! Our driver (Willy) was knowledgeable, and good humored, great for a full day tour of at least 10 hours. The first major stop at the waterfalls of Tvindefossen were beautiful, surrounded by snow and a true winter wonderland. After we arrived in Gudvangen which is surrounded by dramatic towering snow capped mountains, your jaw is on the floor all the way through. The fjord cruise from Gudvangen to Flam is one of the most spectacular things I have seen and we ended at Stegastein Viewpoint, looking down into the fjord as clouds of snow rolled in just before sunset. The highlight of our holiday!! We will be doing this tour again in Springtime!"

Lovely visit to Flåm and Stegastein

"We had a wonderful experience taking the ferry ride from gudvangen to flam and to the stegastein viewpoint. Our guide was Geir. He did a great job taking us around some waterfalls and lake on the way to gudvangen. Then we took the ferry to flam and met him there to ride us to the stegastein viewpoint. The view is super beautiful and mesmerising from there and worth visiting. We had a a wonderful experience. Thank you."
